Who I Am
I bring strong communication skills and extensive experience to each writing project. Before starting my own business—NKH Communications—in 1987, I worked in hospital public relations. My credentials include:
- Award-winning health and science writer
- More than 25 years of publication experience
- Former public relations staff, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Lahey Clinic
- Past president, executive council member, and workshop leader, New England Chapter of the American Medical Writers Association
- Member of the New England Science Writers
- M.S. in Public Relations, College of Communication, Boston University
- B.A. in English, State University of New York at Potsdam
In addition, my volunteer activities include: teaching English as a Secondary Language to adults through English at Large, a Boston-based literacy organization, and participating actively in Acton Stream Teams, an environmental group.
